Bahrain police officer arrested for administrative and financial violations

The Interior Ministry suspended a police officer of the rank of assistance undersecretary and referred him to the Public Prosecution while in custody. The Administrative Investigation Committee of the Interior Ministry revealed his involvement in administration and financial violations. The panel was formed by an order by the Minister of Interior.
The findings of the internal investigations and the procedures of the Police Courts Directorate revealed his involvement in financial and administrative offences, violations of his job duties, and intentionally harming the interests of the Interior Ministry for gains for himself and others from outside the ministry.
His arrest and referring to the Public Prosecution come for crimes he committed and within the ministry’s policy to protect public jobs and fight corruption by tackling those who take the public money regardless of their positions to achieve the kingdom’s serious strategy of controlling government practices and protecting the country's economic development factors.
