Bahrain Airport Police, Civil Defence hold drill

The Bahrain International Airport Police Directorate of the General Directorate of Ports Security has held, in cooperation with the General Directorate of Civil Defence, an exercise of a scenario of a plane crash.
The drill was organised with the participation of the Interior Ministry, Bahrain Defence Force, Bahrain International Airport Company and Civil Aviation Affairs.
The exercise was part of a series of training, in which the scenario was of a plane that drifted while landing and crashed into another, causing fuel leakage and fire in three locations.
The participating teams dealt with the accident within the emergency plans. The drill aimed to evaluate the participating teams' readiness and professionalism, as well as to review the emergency plans.
