HH Shaikh Khalid affirms support for people with determination

First Deputy Chairman of the Supreme Council for Youth and Sport, General Sports Authority Chairman and Bahrain Olympic Committee President, His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has affirmed support for efforts aimed at enabling people with determination to achieve their aspirations and become effective members of their society and nation.

While patronising yesterday the graduation ceremony of the Tafaol Centre for Special Education, HH Shaikh Khalid highlighted the aspects of social, health and educational care provided for people with special needs, under the comprehensive development process, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa.

Minister of Information Affairs, Dr Ramzan bin Abdulla Al Noaimi, Minister of Works, Ibrahim bin Hassan Al Hawaj, Minister of Social Development, Osama bin Ahmed Khalaf Al Asfoor, Minister of Tourism, Fatima bint Jaffar Al Sairafi, President of the Civil Service Bureau, Ahmed bin Zayed Al Zayed Al Jalahma, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Tafaol Centre for Special Education, Saleh Ibrahim Al Fadhala, officials, dignitaries, guests, parents and graduates attended the ceremony.

HH Shaikh Khalid congratulated the graduates and their relatives, noting that students with special needs are always determined to defy all challenges caused by their disabilities in order to achieve their goals.

HH also paid tribute to parents for the tremendous efforts they are exerting in order to provide the necessary care for their children, thus giving lessons in dedication, altruism, patience and sacrifice.
