Oil Ministry cooperating with legislature on energy projects

Oil and Environment Minister and Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak Bin Daina, stressed cooperation with the Council of Representatives in drawing policies and legislations supporting energy projects, towards achieving 2030 Bahrain Economic Vision and Sustainable Development Goals.
The Minister made the statement as he received MP Ammar Hussein Al Abbas, who was accompanied by Al Ma’ameer Charity Society Chairman Ali Abdul Hasan. The meeting was also attended by Al Ma’ameer Club Chairman Ahmed Ibrahim Isa, Eker Society Secretary-General Ali Jaffer Al Mughni, Sitra Club Vice Chairman Ali Ahmed Habeeb, Sitra Club Sports Chief Abdul Ameer Salman.
Dr Bin Daina praised the efforts exerted by MPs and Shura Council members to draw up the environment law, and stressed keenness on promoting related national legislations. He highlighted key environmental issues, noting the government’s plans aimed at achieving sustainable development goals.
