The Avenues set to launch third summer carnival to bolster tourism

The Avenues-Bahrain has announced the launch of The Avenues Carnival for the third year. The carnival, in collaboration with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibitions Authority (BTEA), will be held on August 18-27.

The performers are set to showcase their talents at the spacious ‘Dome’ and ‘Grand Avenue’ districts and visitors of all ages will enjoy performances that combine circus tricks, theatre, and comedy for 10 days.

The Avenues-Bahrain Carnival is a family entertainment festival with renowned international street theatre artists who have performed in several countries, including Australia, UK, Spain, Italy, Portugal, Taiwan, and Argentina.

The Avenues management said that the carnival is their latest addition to summer activities that at The Avenues-Bahrain, the largest sea-front leisure destination in the Kingdom, following last years’ remarkable success, which was widely acclaimed by visitors.

They extended their thanks to the BTEA for its assistance in arranging the carnival and providing all the facilities and support required to succeed in achieving the set goals of reinforcing The Avenues-Bahrain’s position as a leading shopping and entertainment destination.

BTEA is promoting this carnival locally and regionally, focusing mainly to draw more visitors from the Gulf region, both individuals and families, and encouraging them to visit the Kingdom of Bahrain to enrich their travel experience.
