Five Bahrain schools undergoing renovations

The Education Ministry is carrying out renovations on five schools and maintenance work on 40 schools as part of its ongoing preparations for the next academic year 2022-2023.
Minister Dr Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi made the announcement as he visited Maryam Bint Omran Primary School for Girls yesterday. Dr Al Nuaimi was briefed on the progress of work in the school, which includes developing the existing buildings and adding a new one.
He indicated that work is also underway on the comprehensive maintenance of 40 schools in different governorates to enhance an environment suitable for students and members of the administrative, educational and technical bodies.
The maintenance and rehabilitation plan includes internal and external work, replacing the lighting units with the energy-saving type, and maintaining doors, windows, floors, and other facilities.
Dr Al Nuaimi expressed gratitude to everyone who had assisted the ministry in this area. The maintenance and rehabilitation program comes within the efforts made by the Ministry to provide all the requirements and needs necessary for the return to school, which also includes manpower, books and curricula, devices, equipment, tools and others.
