Bahrain committed to boosting US ties

Bahrain is committed to strengthening bilateral relations with the US particularly within military and defence.
This was affirmed by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and Prime Minister, as he received yesterday the Commander of the US Naval Forces Central Command, Commander of the United States Fifth Fleet, and Commander of Combined Maritime Forces, Vice Admiral Charles B. Cooper II, at Riffa Palace.
HRH Prince Salman welcomed Vice Admiral Cooper to the Kingdom and commended the US’s active role in promoting regional security and stability.
His Royal Highness highlighted the depth of strategic relations between the Kingdom of Bahrain and the US. Latest issues During the meeting, several issues of common interest and the latest regional and international developments were discussed.
Cabinet Affairs Minister Hamad bin Faisal Al Malki also attended the meeting.
