Healthcare institutions commended for serving citizens and residents

Oil and Environment Minister, Special Envoy for Climate Affairs, Dr Mohammed bin Mubarak bin Daina, has commended the role played by healthcare institutions in supporting the health sector in Bahrain.

He affirmed the keenness of the Ministry of Oil and Environment to enhance its cooperation with civil society institutions to improve its services to the citizens and residents.

Dr Bin Daina was speaking as he received the Society of Owners of Private Healthcare Institutions (SOPHI) Board of Directors Chairman, Dr Hussain Al Meer, and members, with whom he discussed issues of mutual interest.

The Minister was informed about SOPHI’s health programmes and activities, in addition to its vision, objects and achievements.

He was also briefed about the goals that SOPHI aims to achieve through its cooperation with government entities in private medical projects. Dr Al Meer thanked Dr Bin Daina for the meeting, expressing appreciation for his efforts to achieve sustainable development goals in the kingdom.

He affirmed SOPHI’s desire to strengthen its cooperation with the relevant entities to achieve the national visions related to the environment and sustainable development.
