Health Minister highlights Bahraini women achievements in health sector

Health Minister Dr. Jaleela bint Al Sayyed Jawad Hasan has congratulated HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Wife and  Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President on the 21st anniversary of the SCW establishment.

The minister stressed that the history of Bahraini women is filled with achievements in all fields locally and internationally, supported by HM the King and HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

She highlighted the role of the SCW headed HRH Princess Sabeeka in promoting the growth of Bahraini women on all levels, following the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women.

The minister commended the efforts shared by the Health Ministry and the SCW, which contributed to the development of women in the health sector and be an active part in the progress process.

She noted the role of Bahraini women in the health sector, which is a large part of the workforce and is positively reflected in the ministry's achievements in the gender balance, equal opportunities, high institutional performance and integration of the needs of Bahraini women and families within its objectives and services.
