Legal Affairs Minister stresses Bahraini woman’s role

Legal Affairs Minister Youssef bin Abdulhussain Khalaf congratulated HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, wife of HM the King and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President on the Council’s 21 anniversary.
 
The minister praised the continuous achievements of Bahraini women and their contributions to the comprehensive development process led by HHM the King, as key partners within Team Bahrain and an integral part of the country’s development process.
 
He stressed SCW’s efforts to promote the advancement of women in community services and development.
 
He also emphasized the Kingdom’s support for women's rights to achieve leadership positions and strengthen their contribution in all legislative, executive, and judicial fields.
 
Khalaf referred to the Council's significant role oover the past 21 years to support the progress and advancement of Bahraini women across various sectors and their position in the Kingdom’s sustainable development process.
