Housing Minister stresses SCW's role in supporting Bahraini women

Housing and Urban Planning Minister Amna bint Ahmed Al Rumaihi has congratulated His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister and HRH Princess Sabeeka bint Ibrahim Al Khalifa, HM the King’s Wife and Supreme Council for Women (SCW) President, on the 21st anniversary of the SCW.
Al Rumaihi praised the efforts of the SCW in supporting the government, and affirmed the continuous support of Housing Ministry for SCW's programs and the effective cooperation between the two sides, for the advancement of Bahraini women.
She highlighted cooperation between SCW and the Housing Ministry through establishing the Equal Opportunities Committee in the Ministry, which has become an active element in many programs in terms of awareness, education and other fields.
The minister affirmed the role of SCW in the National Plan for the Advancement of Bahraini Women and how it encouraged incentive policies for gender balance programs.
