HM King Hamad reinforces Bahrain deep-rooted brotherly relations with Egypt, UAE and Jordan to achieve common goals

Stepping up joint efforts to safeguard Arab national security, strengthening the pillars of regional peace, and working together to bring stability and prosperity to the people.

Four Arab leaders, including His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, came to this conclusion during yesterday’s consultative meeting at the Presidential Place in Al Alamein, Egypt.

Other participants in the meeting were Egyptian President Abdel Fattah Al Sisi, UAE President, HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, and HM King Abdulla II ibn Al Hussein of Jordan.

HM King Hamad also attended the lunch banquet hosted by the Egyptian President in honour of fellow Arab leaders. They stressed the importance of strengthening joint cooperation in vital fields with direct economic and developmental returns, as well as stepping up their efforts to safeguard regional security and stability, as the best means to achieve the common goals and meet the aspirations of the region’s peoples for more progress and prosperity.

They also underlined the need for concerted efforts and constant consultation and coordination among them to unify their stances towards various challenges to the region.

In particular, the leaders emphasised the importance of joint action among their countries in championing Arab causes.

Brotherly relations

The Arab leaders discussed the solid deep-rooted brotherly relations between their countries and ways to bolster cooperation among them to strengthen their joint ties and partnership, as well as serve their common interests and achieve the best for their peoples.

They affirmed the depth of the brotherly and strategic relations between their countries, stressing the importance of further strengthening them to achieve common goals and aspirations.

The leaders also discussed the fields of joint coordination to step up joint Arab action, protect Arab peoples’ top interests and unify stances vis-à-vis all challenges facing the region and posing a threat to its security, stability and progress.

The meeting also focused on issues of mutual interest, including the latest regional and global developments.
