Bahrain Harbour Mall to harbour a mural wall art today
Today, the second floor of the Harbour Mall within Bahrain Financial Harbour (also known as the Harbour) will turn into a huge canvas by housing a mural painting by artist Thajba Najeeb.
She will express her vibrant, youthful spirit and lively passion through the painting, which she calls “a beautiful mess,” at the mall at 4.30pm on Sunday.
The exuberant painting by the Bahraini artist is a splatter of her vision, of colour, life and energy.
Expressing delight at providing a platform for a local artist to showcase her talent, Angus Campbell, CEO of Bahrain Financial Harbour Holding Company (BFHHC), said, “We believe that the Harbour should be an integral part of the social and economic life of Bahrain. We want to encourage and introduce new ideas in all spheres of our activity, so that it will improve customer experience, inspire the visitors and become a strong reason to visit the Harbour. We are delighted to be able to provide an opportunity to local artistes and add some value to the cultural life of the Harbour. Our aim is to provide our tenants and the visitors a holistic work-lifestyle environment.”
The Harbour currently serves as a Grade-A office space and a venue to host a wide range of commercial activities, business support services and other lifestyle activities.
