10,000 Bahraini programmers in 5 years

Bahrain will have 10,000 youngsters proficient in programming languages and other latest technologies, who will contribute to the digital transformation of society, in the next five years.
Nasser Centre for Rehabilitation and Vocational Training CEO Dr Abdullah bin Nasser Al Nuaimi and ThinkSmart CEO Ahmed Attiya Al Hujairi announced this after signing a deal to establish a “Smart Coders initiative”.
The initiative, officials said, aims to train Bahrainis in programming and the latest technologies in the next five years. “It would provide a wide range of opportunities for all Bahrainis to understand and use the language of the future and technological tools.
