First ever CUET held in Bahrain

First ever Common University Entrance Test (CUET) was held on Wednesday at Laurels Centre for Global Education, under the supervision of Indian Embassy officials. The Common University Entrance Test is an all-India test organised by the National Testing Agency under the Central Education Ministry of India for admission to various Undergraduate, Integrated, Postgraduate, Diploma, Certification courses and Research Programmes in 45 Central Universities of India.
Laurels have been the centre for JEE exams conducted by the National Testing Agency in the Kingdom. It is also an examination centre for the prestigious BS programme conducted by IIT Madras. In a statement issued to the media, Laurels Centre for Global Education Director Adv Abdul Jaleel Abdulla said the conducting of the first-ever CUET exam bears testimony to the institute’s continuing success as a centre for holding coveted examinations conducted by the Indian Government.
“Ever since its inception, Laurels Centre for Global Education has been bridging India and Bahrain in education. “More than 20,000 students acquired Indian qualifications from Laurels and its parent institution Global Institute during the past 29 years. Students, over these years, have been obtaining schooling certifications to doctorate-level qualifications through the institute.”
