Yesterday turned out to be a great day for Bahrain Inc as a sweet drink produced by a prominent Bahraini company Awal Dairy found a place on the table of the Iraqi Prime Minister, who was addressing a press conference right in the midst of a heavy political conflict his nation presently faces.

Bahrain media “celebrated the occasion” with all of their social media handles uploading the picture with special focus on Awal Dairy 300 ml juice bottle kept on Mustafa Al Khadimi’s table.

Awal Dairy Factory with its successful presence all across the regional market has always been a special pride of the Kingdom’s industry, which is leaving no stone unturned when it comes to expanding its horizons by going global.

The company was founded in 1963 and is renowned for its dairy products, juices, ice creams and sweet drinks. Awal sells roughly 12 different types of juices including strawberry and rose milk and according to the company “its tastes have its deep origins in the rich Bahraini culture”.

Iraq ran into a storm of trouble after prominent cleric Moqtada Al Sadr declared that he was quitting politics owing to the failure of Iraqi leaders to reform “a corrupt and rotting governing system”. Scores have been killed in protests which hit the streets of the nation since last week.
