Bahrain police arrest 34 for immoral traffic, gambling

Police yesterday arrested 34 people, including 14 women, on immoral trafficking and gambling charges in two separate incidents yesterday.
The Anti-Human Trafficking and General Morals Protection Police of the General Directorate of Criminal Investigation and Forensic Science said it arrested 14 women, all African nationals, for facilitating and practising acts contrary to public morals.
Officials also said that they have arrested 20 people, all Asians, for gambling inside an apartment.
The arrests, police said, followed a tip-off received.
Police said they took all necessary legal measures to refer the suspects to Public Prosecution.
