Affirming its commitment to offer young students an amazing educational and artistic experience, Miraya Academy was opened on Thursday at Maryam Plaza in Juffair.
Miraya Academy's vision is to provide a happy, positive, safe, and healthy learning environment for all children aged between three and 18, where academic education and creative arts are given equal importance.
Speaking to The Daily Tribune, Miraya Academy founder Miraya Varma said the academy aims to assist its students in discovering their interests and develop their fondness for learning and creativity so that it would help them in realizing their full potential.
“As a result, our students become self-sufficient, well-rounded, confident, lifelong learners who are free and capable to pursue their passions.”
The multi-faceted Miraya, who is a model, singer and actress, before wearing the robes of an educationist, said family support is vital in a child’s successful upbringing. “All my successes could be attributed to the support offered to me by the family. It makes me stand here today. Unfortunately, a lot of kids don’t get the right support to bolt up their passion.
”I have been certain as to the kind of support I want to offer the children when I decided to open the academy. It is a safe place where young kids are encouraged to follow their dreams and not just do well academically but also artistically,” Ms Miraya added.
Preschool coaching, vocal lessons, painting, arts and crafts, yoga, dance and Cambridge English classes are among the courses provided at Miraya Academy.
