The Smile Initiative, a Bahrain Future Society for Youth initiative that provides psychosocial support to children with cancer and their parents in the Kingdom, has concluded its summer program aimed at developing the skills and talents of its young heroes, entertaining them, and helping them develop their social and psychological skills.
Young heroes members between the ages of 4 and 15 attended the program.
The activities were divided into classes that included handicrafts, art, pottery coloring, story reading, cooking and movies, and outdoor entertainment field trips.
The summer program of the Smile initiative was supervised by its volunteers, who took over the tasks of preparing educational and recreational activities for them. This year's edition was held with the support of the INOVEST Company.
Future Youth Association Board of Directors Member and the general supervisor of the summer program Mohamed Al Sokari said that this annual program intends to involve the kids in intellectual, cultural, and creative activities that help them learn and grow in the summer break.
Al Sokari pointed out that the program receives a large number of participants and expressed his appreciation to the voluntary supervisors and INOVEST’s sponsorship.
