Health facilities to be developed across Bahrain

Supreme Council of Health President Lt.-General Dr. Shaikh Mohammed bin Abdullah Al Khalifa has stressed affirmed the keenness to develop facilities in all health across Bahrain.
Shaikh Mohammed was at the Mohammed Jassim Kanoo Health Center in the Northern Governorate as part of his visits to health centers to review the latest developments in the implementation of the self-management project.
The government is committed to providing the best health services to enhance the health services across Bahrain, and in line with the comprehensive development initiatives in the health sector in the Kingdom, he said.
The self-management of primary health care centers was launched with the aim of improving the efficiency and standards of health services in accordance with the principles of fair competition and sustainability, he added.
The move is within the plans set to strengthen the health sector in a way that supports the comprehensive development process led by HM King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and the follow-up of HRH Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.
