Bahrain, Pakistan keen to exchange labour expertise

Bahrain and Pakistan are keen to enhance cooperation and exchange expertise in the labour sector. This comes as Labour Market Regulatory Authority (LMRA) Chief Executive Officer Noof Abdulrahman Jamsheer received Pakistani Ambassador to Bahrain Muhammad Ayub.
Jamsheer briefed the Pakistani Ambassador on the various aspects of the labour market reform project and the initiatives launched by the authority within the framework of maintaining a stable and balanced work environment to achieve growth in the labour market.
She praised the cooperation with government agencies regarding expatriate workers, stressed the importance of labour-exporting countries and urged them to abide by the labour market regulations.
Ayoub praised the Kingdom’s care for all expatriate workers and its keenness to preserve their gains and rights in the labour market.
