Bahrain must take advantage of investment climate
Prime Minister HRH Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al Khalifa has called on the private sector to take advantage of the “stimulating investment opportunities” offered by the Kingdom, and set up projects that add value to the national economy.
HRH Premier stressed on the importance of such ventures in serving Bahrain’s economic policies and in supporting its efforts to provide job and training opportunities.
The PM urged the private sector to take the initial step and be the first beneficiary of the Kingdom’s leading trade position. The premier also stressed on the Kingdom’s outstanding location and international status.
HRH Premier made the statements as he received at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday, a number of Royal Family members and senior state officials, in the presence of Bahrain Chamber of Commerce and Industry (BCCI) Chairman Khalid Al Moayyad and a number of businessmen.
The PM expressed interest in the remarks made by the businessmen there regarding certain procedures pertaining to investment, and the need to boost the investment atmosphere to enhance the Kingdom’s status as leading hub of local and foreign investments.
HRH Premier highlighted the government’s keenness on creating such a cultivating atmosphere and vowed to remove the obstacles so that it serves the national economy.
The government welcomed the remarks of the trade sector and its keenness on increasing its participation in the investment sector, and echoed the premier’s statements, assuring its readiness to remove all obstacles facing the investment sector in the Kingdom.
