Historic Ain Umm Guwaifa Natural Water Spring opened after revamp

The historic Ain Umm Guwaifa Natural Water Spring was opened following its revamp yesterday in the presence of Municipalities’ Affairs and Agriculture Minister, Wael bin Nasser Al-Mubarak, and Southern Governor, His Highness Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali bin Khalifa Al Khalifa.
Al-Mubarak affirmed his Ministry’s interest in developing heritage sites to preserve them for current and future generations.
He also unveiled plans to revamp various historical and heritage sites, historic springs and parks in cooperation with governorates and municipal councils.
Southern Governor, HH Shaikh Khalifa bin Ali commended His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for improving the quality of services delivered to the citizens.
