Bahrain, UAE keen to bolster relations

Bahrain and UAE are committed to further strengthening solid bilateral relations and exploring more cooperation across various fields. This came as His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa met in Abu Dhabi yesterday the UAE President, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, as part of HM’s visit to the UAE.
They exchanged cordial talks on the deep-rooted brotherly relations between the two countries and their peoples, wishing bilateral relations further progress. HM King Hamad and HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed reviewed areas of bilateral coordination, as well as ways to diversify and broaden joint action across various fields, which would consolidate the two countries’ sustainable development efforts, meet their peoples’ aspirations and achieve their common interests, based on the two countries’ robust long-standing ties, and their belief in their common destiny.
The two leaders expressed their pride in the deep-rooted fraternal ties for both countries, as well as in the advanced level reached by their wide-ranging fruitful cooperation. HM the King lauded the effective pivotal role played the UAE, under the leadership of HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed, at the regional and international levels.
He cited the UAE President’s tireless efforts to strengthen the pillars of regional and global security and stability, promote peace, and launch global initiatives to foster the humanitarian values of coexistence, tolerance and cooperation among peoples.
They also discussed a number of Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) and Arab issues, in addition to the latest regional and global developments. His Majesty and HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed also exchanged points of views on isues of mutual concern.
