HM King Hamad returns after paying respects to Queen Elizabeth II

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa yesterday returned to Bahrain after visiting UAE, UK and paying his respects to Queen Elizabeth II, laid to rest alongside her beloved husband after 70 years on the throne.
Upon arrival in Bahrain yesterday, His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister welcomed HM King.
Earlier yesterday, HM the King left the UAE and was seen off by UAE President HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed. During talks, the two leaders reviewed the solid fraternal Bahraini-UAE relations and the latest regional and global developments.
The funeral, according to BBC, was watched by 32.5 million viewers there. Among the 2,000 congregations were some 500 presidents, prime ministers, foreign royal family members and dignitaries, including Joe Biden of the United States.
HM King Hamad offered condolences and sympathy to His Majesty King Charles III, the UK Royal Family, the British people and the government.
