BAC reveals plan for new headquarters
Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), has revealed its plans to relocate into new Headquarters in the first quarter of 2016. The company will be shifting into the new head quarter offices located in the aviation compound opposite to BIA also home to Gulf Air’s head offices.
Al Yusuf Décor has already been appointed to supervise the entire project including construction work, fit-outs and interior design. The new contemporary offices will feature open workspaces to encourage interactions between coworkers, large meeting rooms, offices and breakout areas.
Commenting on the new offices, Mohamed Yousif Al Binfalah, CEO of Bahrain Airport Company, said, “BAC’s relocation into brand new offices are in line with the company’s strategic objectives which aim to enhance the work environment and make BAC a great place to work, boosting business and performance improvement as a result. The new offices have been designed to strengthen employee engagement and communication and provide a comfortable workspace for all our staff with ample parking facilities and conveniences. In addition, our new Headquarters are strategically located close to BIA and to some of our key aviation partners such as Gulf Air and Gulf Aviation Academy, fostering greater interaction and cooperation”.
BAC is the authority responsible for enhancing BIA and increasing the airport’s contribution to the local economy in line with Bahrain’s Economic Vision. In its operational role, BAC is responsible for elevating the airport’s operations, infrastructure and services. This is set to improve BIA’s capabilities and cater to the growing number of passengers as well as the changing demands of stakeholders.
