Bahrain, Indonesia discuss ways to bolster tourism cooperation

Bahrain and Indonesia are committed to strengthening cooperation in the areas of tourism education and training. This came as Tourism Minister Fatima bint Jaafar Al Sairafi held a meeting with Sandiaga Uno, the Indonesian Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy, on the sidelines of her participation in the World Tourism Day held in the island of Bali, Indonesia, under the theme “Rethinking Tourism”.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed many aspects of joint collaboration, including cooperation in the field of marketing and tourism promotion between the two countries.
They also discussed the hospitality industry, the sharing of expertise in the tourism industry, and joint participation in domestic and international exhibitions.
Al Sairafi expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the hosting of conference, which confirms the Republic of Indonesia’s determination to boost collaboration in various tourism sectors across the globe.
