Elections Call Centre receives more than 4,200 phone calls

Official statistics issued by the executive management of the parliamentary and municipal elections 2022 showed that the call center “77277277”, and since the announcement of its start-up two weeks ago on September 12 until yesterday, has received more than 4,200 phone calls.
The statistics revealed that the call center, which is one of the official channels for obtaining official information about the electoral process and is run by qualified and trained employees to respond and answer all inquiries of callers and under the supervision of the legal committee of the executive management of the elections, works daily and during holidays and official holidays, from 9 am to 9 pm.
It also provides its services in both Arabic and English. The executive management pointed out that the citizens’ interest in contacting the call center to obtain information reflects the Bahraini voter’s keenness to develop his legal culture about the electoral process.
It also indicated that most of the calls received by the call center were centered around receiving information about the locations of the supervisory committees, the voters’ lists, volunteering, eligibility to vote and candidacy, terms of electoral campaigning.
The executive management confirmed that the call center will continue to receive calls from callers until the last day of the elections, to form, along with the website, the supervisory committees, and the official accounts of the elections on social media, one of the most important channels for obtaining official information about the elections.
