Investments to continue in key sectors of Bahrain says Finance Minister

Mumtalakat is committed to continuing its investment in key sectors of Bahrain under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, said Finance Minister.

“We are committed to continuing investing in key economic sectors,” confirmed Shaikh Salman bin Khalifa Al Khalifa, the Minister of Finance and National Economy and Chairman of Bahrain Mumtalakat Holding Company.

The minister was reviewing the progress of the company’s new investment strategy with board members. Mumtalakat, the minister said, will invest in sectors aligned with the economic recovery plan.

“This would enable us to continue contributing to the national economy,” added Shaikh Salman. During the meeting, Shaikh Salman expressed his appreciation for the contributions of Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Infrastructure, for his guidance and support throughout his tenure at Mumtalakat.

The Chairman and the board members expressed their appreciation for the trust of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and his guidance to continue investing in the Kingdom for the benefit of Bahrain and its people.
