Bahrain teachers hailed for key role in nation building

Teachers in Bahrain enjoy advanced status, thanks to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa’s unwavering support for education.
This was emphasised by Education Minister Dr Majid bin Ali Al Nuaimi as Bahrain joins the international community in celebrating the World Teachers’ Day today.
In a statement marking the occasion, observed worldwide every October 5, Dr Al Nuaimi lauded the constant support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, for the educational march in the Kingdom, given the importance of education as an essential pillar of development and progress.
He lauded the praise of HM King Hamad, while chairing this week’s regular Cabinet meeting, on the major role played by Bahraini teachers throughout history and their success in preparing generations of students who are capable of contributing effectively to the Kingdom’s comprehensive development.
The Education Minister extended congratulations to all teachers, commending their role in spreading knowldge and promoting the values that cement the national identity. He also paid tribute to Bahraini teachers for helping the Kingdom earn multiple local and international achievements, foremost which international reports ranking Bahrain among leading countries with the highest performance in achieving the education for all goals, as well as with quality educational services.
Dr Al Nuaimi underlined the Education Ministry’s constant keenness to advance the teaching profession, by providing professional development opportunities for teachers and putting in place the best conditions for creativity and giving, as they are partners in the development process currently witnessed by the Ministry.
