Accusations that a teacher attacked a student with a metal object turned fake in an investigation by the Public Prosecution.
The student and his father claimed that the student suffered injuries from the attack, which a forensic doctor of the Family and Child prosecution proved baseless.
The decision came following an investigation into allegations that a teacher attacked a student in a classroom. Prosecutors said they took statements of teachers and several students and questioned the accused teacher, who denied attacking the student.
Following this, prosecutors assigned a forensic doctor to examine the student and the nature of his injuries. The forensic report said that the student had no injuries on his body, as claimed by the student and his parent.
Prosecutors said they are dropping all charges against the teacher. The Chief Prosecutor also said they are investigating a student’s guardian for raising false allegations against a teacher through social media channels.
Prosecutors are also investigating two reports by the Ministry - one against publishing video insulting them and teachers and another against a woman for publishing videos on social media with false claims that a teacher assaulted a student.
The woman’s claims that a teacher attacked her son and another student were proved fake by the public prosecution and were referred to trial. Prosecutors charged them with misusing social media and spreading false and misleading information.
