HM King Hamad hails BDF patriotism, courage

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, expressed pride in the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) personnel’s competence, citing their constant keenness to carry out the patriotic tasks entrusted to them with courage and determination.
HM the King was speaking as he visited yesterday the BDF General Command and held talks with a number of senior officers. During the meeting, the Supreme Commander was briefed about the future plans to develop all BDF branches, as well as about the beginning of the new training season, in accordance with the pre-set plans.
Upon arrival, HM King Hamad was welcomed by the BDF Commander-in-Chief, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa. HM the King was accompanied by National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and Royal Guard Special Force Commander, Lieutenant-Colonel His Highness Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad Al Khalifa.
His Majesty was also welcomed by the BDF Chief of Staff, Lieutenant-General Dheyab bin Saqr Al Nuaimi, and senior BDF officers. HM the King requested senior officers to convey his greetings to all the BDF affiliates at various work sites, in Bahrain and abroad.
