Bahrain, UK keen to boost regional peace and security

National Security Advisor and Royal Guard Commander, Major-General His Highness Shaikh Nasser bin Hamad Al Khalifa, has affirmed the depth of the steadily-growing Bahrain-UK partnership.
He highlighted the two countries’ commitment to consolidating peace and security in the region, as well as achieving their common interests.
This came as Major-General HH Shaikh Nasser received yesterday a delegation from the International Relations and Defence Committee, at the UK House of Lords, led by Baroness Anelay of St Johns.
The National Security Advisor welcomed the House of Lords’ delegation, and reviewed with them the ongoing cooperation and coordination between the two friendly countries, praising the long-standing Bahraini-British relations.
They also discussed the latest regional and global developments of mutual concern. UK Ambassador to Bahrain Roddy Drummond, accompanied the UK House of Lords’ delegation.
