Bahrain Municipalities Ministry launches children's campaign

Undersecretary for Municipal Affairs at the Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Ministry Shaikh Mohammed bin Ahmed Al Khalifa launched "Mun Kids" an awareness campaign for children and school students, to spread environmental awareness and the importance of preserving and promoting positive values and national identity.
The undersecretary stressed that this awareness initiative comes within the framework of the Ministry’s efforts aimed at building a positive culture and developing individual and collective awareness of the impact of environmental factors on the future and present of the nations.
He confirmed the directives of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak to host such programs for children and young people because it’s important in building an aware generation interested in preserving the environment and public hygiene.
The campaign includes a number of programs and initiatives in cooperation with organizations from the public and private sectors.
