Bahrain and Saudi ties ‘progressing steadily’

Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Infrastructure, Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla Al Khalifa, has affirmed the depth of the long-standing fraternal Bahraini-Saudi relations, which are progressing steadily.

He thanked the unwavering interest of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud resulting in the growing ties.

The Deputy Prime Minister highlighted efforts to deepen integration between the two brotherly countries in various fields in a way that contributes to achieving the common visions of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, and those of His Royal Highness Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister of Saudi Arabia.

Shaikh Khalid bin Abdulla made the statements while receiving at the Gudaibiya Palace yesterday the Saudi Ambassador to Bahrain, HRH Prince Sultan bin Ahmed bin Abdulaziz AlSaud, whom he thanked for the tremendous efforts he is exerting to strengthen bilateral relations towards more cooperation and coordination between the two brotherly countries.

The Deputy Premier lauded the progress and urbanisation boom currently witnessed by Saudi Arabia across various fields, reflecting the Saudi leadership’s ambitions and forward-looking vision capable of investing in the national natural, environmental and cultural components by turning them into major strategic development projects to achieve the Kingdom’s 2030 Economic Vision.

They also discussed the latest regional and global developments, in addition to issues of common interest.
