Preparations are complete for Bahraini voting abroad

All preparations for the parliamentary elections concerning citizens abroad have been completed in coordination with the Foreign Ministry.

This was confirmed by Chancellor Nawaf Abdullah Hamza, president of the Legislation and Legal Opinion Commission, Executive Director of the parliamentary and municipal elections 2022.

Chancellor Hamza noted that 37 diplomatic headquarters are ready to receive the voters on November 7.

He added that all registered voters on the lists can turn up at the polling and counting committees at the diplomatic headquarters of the Kingdom of Bahrain abroad to elect members of the Council of Representatives.

Casting ballot will be from 8am until 8pm, according to the local time of the city in which the embassy, consulate or diplomatic mission is located.

Chancellor Hamza stated that the executive directorate, in coordination with the Foreign Ministry, under full judicial supervision, has been keen to guarantee that all needed logistic procedures are taken to ensure citizens elect their parliamentary representatives with ease.

Results of polling abroad will be added to the results of the elections which are scheduled to be held in the Kingdom of Bahrain on November 12, he noted.
