Bahrain and Israel sign agricultural cooperation deal

Bahrain Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture Minister Wael bin Nasser Al Mubarak signed a memorandum of understanding on food security and agriculture with Israeli Minister of Agriculture and Rural Development Oded Forer.
The signing of the memo was held on the sidelines of the participation of the Minister of Municipalities Affairs and Agriculture in the first international agriculture conference which is being held in Eilat city, in Israel, from October 18 to 20 under the theme “Agriculture in Israel-Growing Food from the Sea and the Desert”.
The signing of the memorandum of understanding is within the framework of continuous cooperation between both countries in the agricultural field, particularly regarding modern production technologies and food security.
