Bahrain lifts ban on Indian movie 'Monster'

Bahrain authorities have lifted a ban on Mohanlal starer ‘Monster’ after its makers trimmed 13 minutes of the film. The movie hit a roadblock when the Gulf countries, except UAE, banned the film over its content.
Following this, the makers reportedly submitted the film to Censor Board for re-evaluation. Latest reports say the movie will start screening in theatres here today.
“#Monster ban lifted in ##Bahrain after 13 minutes are cut!” Local news dailies quoting Trade analyst Sreedhar Pillai said. Reports say Mohanlal, who enjoys fandom pan-India, is in the role of a mystery man named Lucky Singh in this investigative thriller.
The film also marks Mohanlal’s reunion with the Pulimurugan writer-director duo Vysakh-Udaykrishna. The movie also stars Lakshmi Manchu, Siddique, Lena, Honey Rose, Sudev Nair, KB Ganesh Kumar and Johny Antony.
