Solid Bahrain-UAE relations hailed

His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, has lauded the strength of the longstanding relations between Bahrain and the UAE on multiple fronts.

HRH Prince Salman highlighted the unwavering support of both His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa and the UAE President His Highness Shaikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan resulting in the growing bilateral relations.

HRH was speaking as he received yesterday the Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of the United Arab Emirates, His Highness Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, on the occasion of his visit to the Kingdom to participate in the meeting of the tenth session of the Joint Higher Committee between Bahrain and the UAE at Riffa Palace.

HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister welcomed HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed and his accompanying delegation to the Kingdom and commended the outcomes of the Joint Higher Committee meetings, which contributed to furthering bilateral cooperation, strengthening economic and investment relations, and achieving the aspirations of the two countries and their peoples.

HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed extended the greetings of the UAE President and His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, the Vice President, Prime Minister and Ruler of Dubai to His Royal Highness, and their best wishes of continued progress and prosperity for Bahrain and its citizens.

HRH Prince Salman extended his greetings and best wishes to HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed for HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Zayed and HH Shaikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, wishing the UAE and its people continued progress and development.

Active role

He commended the UAE’s strong dispositions toward the Kingdom and its people, highlighting the UAE’s active regional and global role and efforts in promoting joint Arab cooperation and establishing the foundations for security and peace.

HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed expressed his gratitude to HRH the Crown Prince and Prime Minister for his ongoing support in bolstering cooperation between the two countries and their peoples, and wished the Kingdom continued progress and prosperity.

HRH Prince Salman hosted a luncheon in honour of the visit of HH Shaikh Abdullah bin Zayed and the accompanying delegation. His Highness Shaikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of the Isa bin Salman Charity Educational Endowment, His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, and several senior officials also attended the meeting.
