Stage is set for prestigious Miss Planet Bahrain 2022

With the search for “Miss Planet Bahrain 2022” in full swing, the Miss Planet International Bahrain organiser, led by Rowena Crisostomo Cabral, paid a courtesy visit to Charge d’Affaires Her Excellency Anne Jalondo-on Louis of the Philippine Embassy to brief her about the upcoming pageant, which will be held on 30 October at the Gulf Hotel.
The group was met by charge d’affaires Louis along with Consul Bryan Jess Baguio and Cultural Attache Jie Marie F. Mortel-Ladrica.
During the visit, Ms Cabral explained that Whendy Crisostomo Production International (WCPI) is the official partner of Miss Planet International in Bahrain and is coordinating with the Bahrain Tourism and Exhibition Authority (BTEA) and other government entities in the selection of Miss Planet Bahrain 2022.
The winner of the Miss Planet Bahrain 2022 will officially represent the Kingdom at the “Miss Planet International 2022 competition”, which will be held in the Republic of Uganda from 6 to 20 November 2022.
Louis warmly welcomed the Miss Planet International Bahrain organisers and advised the group to consult the proper authorities in Bahrain in the project execution of the pageant. “In every step of the project, the government should be on board,” she said.
The Filipino charge d’affaires also reminded the team that it is very important to consult with the Ministry of Tourism to ensure the success of “Miss Planet Bahrain 2022.” The winner of Miss Planet Bahrain 2022 will be the first to represent the country in Miss Planet International, where she will be competing with candidates from other countries.
It will be an annual event starting this year under WCPI. Miss Planet International is the first sustainable beauty pageant that aims to seek the perfect woman who truly believes in and supports all causes related to the conservation efforts carried out by Champions of the Planet.
It is anchored under the United Nations Sustainable Development Goals 2030 Agenda. WCPI is calling all young Bahraini ladies to get the chance to represent the Kingdom of Bahrain at “The Pearl of Africa,” Uganda, for the “Miss Planet International 2022” pageant.
