Bahrain economy ‘grows remarkably'

Bahrain’s economy has achieved a remarkable growth during the third quarter of 2022 (Q3). This is based on the Ministry of Finance and National Economy’s summary of the performance of a number of economic indicators during that period.
In the trade sector, the number of of new commercial registers for companies grew by 39.5%, while the overall number of visitors to shopping malls soared by 18.0%.
The sales at points of sale and e-commerce witnessed an increase of 15.1%, while international exports of national origin recorded a growth of 5.6%. National-origin exports achieved a remarkable growth compared to the third quarter of 2019, registering an increase of 112.5%.
Bahrain Bourse (Bahrain Main Index) grew by 10.3%, and gasoline sales increased by 9.8%, and the real estate trading volume recorded a growth of 7.5%, and the occupancy rate of 5 and 4-star hotels achieved a growth By 7%, while the number of incoming trucks via the King Fahd Causeway increased by 5.5%.
