Bahrain and Oman boost ties of love and respect

His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa praised the visit of His Majesty Sultan Haitham bin Tarik of Oman which strengthened the bonds of brotherhood between the Kingdom of Bahrain and Sultanate of Oman.
At the invitation of HM King Hamad, HM Sultan Haitham visited the Kingdom from Monday until yesterday. HM the King affirmed that the two countries are distinguished by their deep-rooted civilisations that span for decades which is witnessing a bright present and have a prosperous future, and stressed on the importance of exchanging visits between the two countries.
His Majesty was speaking as he held a meeting with HM Sultan Haitham at Al Sakhir Palace. The meeting reviewed the close and distinguished relations between Bahrain and Oman and their leaderships, and ties of love and respect that bind their two brotherly peoples.
Their Majesties discussed the historical ties, ways of boosting cooperation in various fields, and the latest issues at the regional and international levels. HM Sultan Haitham thanked HM King Hamad for his warm reception, praising his constant keenness to strengthen the close brotherly relations with Oman.
His Majesty the Sultan stressed Oman’s keenness to continue cooperation to enhance the close relations in all fields. HM the King visited HM Sultan Haitham at his residence in the Kingdom.
HM King Hamad accompanied HM the Sultan of Oman to Al Rawdha Palace, where they attended a lunch banquet hosted by His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister, in honour of the Kingdom’s distinguished guest.
Members of the official delegation accompanied HM the Sultan, in addition to their Highnesses and Excellencies, were also present.
