Over 300 students take part in ‘BKS-Laurels Master Brain 2022’

Over 300 students from 10 schools took part in ‘BKS-Laurels Master Brain 2022’ contest held at Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam on Friday. The first prize went to Harikrishnan Menon and Om Thavare of New Millennium School while Meghana Pappu and Jaden Thomas of The Asian School stood second.
Rohit Nagendra Parashar and Thrshith Mani Prabu Kumar of New Millennium School secured the third position. The event was organised by Laurels Centre for Global Education along with the Bahrain Keraleeya Samajam (BKS) and students aged between 12 and 17 were eligible to take part.
It was held under the auspices of BKS Science Forum and Quiz Club and aimed to help students test their knowledge against their peers and emerge as quiz champions. The quizzer Terry O’Brien is an academician turned full-time writer, a freelance media consultant and public broadcaster, a quiz master, and a passionate motivational trainer.
He is a man of many parts, a language expert, a versatile writer on a plethora of topics and a trainer’s trainer. BKS Vice President Devdas Kunnath, Gen. Secretary Varghese Karakkal, Laurels Chairman P Unnikrishnan, CEO Abdul Jaleel Abdulla, Director Latha Unnikrishanan and other dignitaries were present at the prize distribution ceremony.
