The High Labour Court ordered a contracting company to pay BD36,000 to its manager who fulfilled his duties but was not paid according to the agreed contract.
The plaintiff joined the company as general manager, and it was agreed that his remuneration would be in the form of a 30% commission on the value of projects completed by the company.
The company is said to have failed to cover the plaintiff’s labour arrears and commissions due to him as per the agreement signed between both parties.
As per the court files, the defendant managed to complete several projects.
However, he didn’t receive the commissions for these projects. As per the report submitted by a delegated expert who investigated the case, his commissions were estimated at BD36,285.
