Parliamentary and Municipal Elections 2022 Media Centre opened in Bahrain

Information Affairs Minister Dr. Ramzan bin Abdulla Alnoaimi hailed Bahrain's democratic strides, led by His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, with the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince and Prime Minister.

Dr. Alnoaimi made the statement during the opening ceremony of the 2022 Parliamentary and Municipal Elections Media Centre at the Crowne Plaza Bahrain.

The opening ceremony was also attended by Information Affairs Ministry Undersecretary Dr. Abdulrahman Mohammed Baher, National Communication Centre (NCC) Chief Executive Officer Yousif Mohammed Albinkhalil, officials and representatives of local, regional and international media.

Dr. Alnoaimi stressed keenness to provide all facilities for the local, regional and international media, noting their key role in highlighting Bahrain's democratic strides, and people's active participation and exercise of their rights to run and vote.

He pointed out that the media center has been equipped with all technical, administrative and technical services that ensure the various media outlets smoothly cover the 2022 parliamentary and municipal elections.

He commended the High Elections Monitoring Committee, the elections executive management and other relevant regulatory authorities for their cooperation in facilitating procedures to cover this democratic election in a positive atmosphere.

The minister extended thanks to the local media and journalists, and to all representatives of the regional and international media, wishing them a pleasant stay in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
