Government hospitals, Edamah in deal

The Government hospitals and Bahrain Real Estate Investment Company (Edamah) yesterday signed a cooperation agreement with the support of the Supreme Council of Health to upgrade the parking lots of Salmaniya Medical Complex.
The Governmental Hospitals CEO Dr Ahmed Mohammed Al Ansari said the project aims at easing health services and meeting the needs of patients, citizens, and residents of Bahrain. Edamah’s CEO Amin Ahmed Alarrayed stressed the importance of expanding cooperation between the public and private sectors.
The agreement calls for harnessing solar energy and providing parking, valet parking and a car wash facility. Work will also focus on developing the internal streets at Salmaniya Medical Complex.
