All set for largest ever “Bahrain Festive Season”

“Bahrain Festive Season”- the largest version ever - will open at the beginning of December with a wide range of activities, events, and festivities in various governorates around the Kingdom, said Bahrain Tourism & Exhibitions Authority (BTEA).

Organisers can participate by registering their events on Bahrain’s events website: Calendar.bh, said Dr Nasser Qaedi, the Chief Executive of BTEA. Celebrations will continue until January 2023 and will target visitors and tourists.

The season will also include promotional offers and travel and accommodation packages. Live performances of artistic, folkloric, and traditional groups are part of the season, along with recreational, cultural, sports, and creative programmes.

Dhow Music and Lights Shows will take place in coastal sites, including Bilaj al-Jazayer beach, Bahrain Bay, and Arad’s Fort. Moreover, there will be fireworks during the National Day celebrations in addition to New Year Celebrations, which will host artistic and musical performances by local and folklore bands.

There will also be concerts featuring Arab and international artists, in addition to regional exhibitions such as the Autumn Fair 2023 for the opening of the new Exhibition World Bahrain in the Sakhir area.
