Massive voter turnout confirms citizens' commitment to democratic process: Justice Minister

Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Minister, Nawaf bin Mohammed Al-Maawda, the Chairman of the Higher Committee to over the integrity of the elections, has stated that the citizens have confirmed their strong commitment to the democratic process through their remarkable presence at polling stations and intensive participation in the elections.
In a statement to the Bahrain News Agency (BNA) while inspecting the general polling station at the Seef Mall, the minister indicated that a massive voter turnout has been recorded since the first hours of the elections at the local and general polling stations.
The minister confirmed that until now, no electoral violations have been recorded, whether in the polling procedures or at the level of electoral campaigning for the candidates in and around the polling stations, expressing his confidence in the success of the democratic elections in Bahrain and wishing success for all candidates.
