16 reputed Indian universities attend ‘Study in India’ meet

‘ Study in India Counselling Meet 2022’, organised by UniGrad Education Centre Bahrain along with TIES India, at Indian Club, Bahrain, saw the participation of 16 reputed universities of India including Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), SRM Institute of Science and Technology and BITS Pilani.
The meet was inaugurated on Friday, November 11, 2022, morning by Ambassador of India to Bahrain Piyush Srivastava and concluded on Saturday.
There was an overwhelming response from the part of parents and students looking for quality education from reputed universities in India after completing their higher secondary education.
Since the universities of India accept international students, the meeting was beneficial to Bahraini students also, looking for the higher education of international standards at affordable fees.
The international division heads of the universities who participated in the meet explained to the participants the myriad of courses they offered, which included, engineering, medical and healthcare, management and commerce and liberal arts.
The immense possibilities students have for choosing a course with the combination of subjects of their choice under the New Education Policy initiated by the government of India was also explained to them.
UniGrad Chairman J P Menon reiterated his commitment to the progress of society by providing ample educational opportunities to the youth at affordable fees through organising more such fairs with the participation of more institutions in the coming years.
