Southern Governor: Social Media Users should Adopt Positive Approach

Southern Governor Shaikh Abdulla bin Rashid Al Khalifa stressed yesterday the vital role of social media, urging users to adopt positive approach to serve the general interests and development goals of Bahrain.
He said the negative use of social media could harm Bahrain’s reputation and its national achievements.
He said, in regards of highlighting complaints and suggestions, individuals should seek the concerned channels, especially since most organizations have launched their accounts to interact and reach out to the public, their clients or beneficiaries.
He said the governorate has established social media accounts and e-applications to highlight its services and programmes.
